You have to realize that realtors are in the business of finding Buyers and Sellers of homes, not in the buiness of negotiating and processing short sales with lenders. Short sale negotiating is a very specific skill set and constant training and updated legal documents insure a higher chance to avoid a foreclosure.

Stop Foreclosure!

“I’m so tired of dealing with this house, with the bills, with all the headaches. I can’t afford to make my payments anymore, my house is underwater, the market will take years to come back and I don’t want to wait that long. ”

I hear too many people saying things like this. It makes me want to scream, “NO, don’t do it! Do you realize how much long term damage you may cause yourself?”

While I can certainly identify with these sentiments, with the anger and frustration, with the confusion and even despair, SOMEONE HAS TO address the dangers and traps that await the person who thinks foreclosure solves their problem, who thinks they can “just walk away”. Loan modifications are done at no charge by HUD approved counselors, there is no need to pay a fee to so called “loan modification experts” that you see on the internet and on YouTube. Don’t fall victim to another scam, contact a HUD approved counserlor if you need a loan modification.
