http://theriangroup.blogspot.com – Market opportunities are fewer for some but for other, serious, investors wanting to cash in on the foreclosure fiasco faced by much of the nation, flipping homes is a trend we will see much more in the coming months and year. By making an investment toward a property that may not be completely up to par, you can transform the much-needed areas into a viable, prosperous investment with significant cash flow yields.

I am looking for a home in my area and I would like to know what is the best website to use. Most, if not all, require a subscription fee, so I’d like to pick a reputable one. Thanks for your help in advance.

Even if they require a fee, you will still be getting an outdated list.
Not a scam, since they give you what they promised you – a list of foreclosures.

This info is not hard to find.
Google the banks in your area followed by the word foreclosure.
Example: Bank of America has a nice listing. Just type in your area.

Also, you are aware that a realtor has this information at their fingertips.
Plus a realtor can warn you of many things that come hand in hand with foreclosures

Whom can i call to get foreclosure listings?

There are a few sites that are free, however, you must complete the application before they would allow you assess to their site.

Your local real estate agent might be the best choice to find a property or banked owned property. Again the real estate agent might would want you pre-approve or pre-qualified prior to providing you with a list of properties.

Other list might be free and provide you with a list, however, they might not indicate all the listings as bank owner REO properties.

I hope this has been of some benefit to you, good luck.

I mean FREE. Not free for a week trial. I mean absolutely free you never pay for it.

There isn’t a website that just lists foreclosures for free, but you can go to a bunch of websites to find a lot of them (not ALL of them).
A realtor can send you all of the listings in the areas that you are interested.
HUD homes (FHA foreclosures) are listed at http://www.hudhomestore.com
Fannie Mae foreclosures are listed at http://www.homepath.com/
Freddie Mac foreclosures are listed at http://www.homesteps.com/
VA foreclosures are listed at https://va.equator.com/
You can also google all the major banks and servicers for the websites for their foreclosures …. "bank of america reo" "wells fargo reo" "chase reo" "citibank reo" "indymac reo" "american home mortgage reo"
This will get you a lot of them, but not all of them.

A HomeSteps Property!! up to 3.5% closing costs offered on owner-occupied, financed sales (or up to 1% on owner-occupied, cash sales.) Home protect home warranty for 2 years. 5BR/3 BA plus 2 car garage. Kitchen with granite. Has all appliances. Community offers pool, tennis, basketball, fitness and playground area for children.
