Does anyone know how to get help with a Citimortgage loan modification? I have been trying to get in touch with them and reach a decision maker for my home for months and have had no luck. Anyone know any short cuts to getting a loan modification with them?

I have a friend who had their mortgage through Citimortgage and got a loan modification that cost them quite a bit of money and really didn’t end up doing them that much good. I don’t know who they used. I used 1st Foreclosure Prevention to modify my Wells Fargo Home Mortgage. They were able to reduce my payments by $300 a month, more than I needed to stay in my house. They worked quickly, too, and I found out that they charged a lot less than the company my friend used for his loan modification. Good luck!

Yes and no, you are refinacing your home. The new mortgage plan is to adjust the payments to something closer to what you can afford, hopefully. The bank does not want the property back they just want your money. however if you do not make the payments thay will take their home away from you.

what should i look for in considering a service for foreclosure listings? is it worth the monthly fee (for an online mimbership) or should i route to sticking with listings distributed through a sherriff’s sale, county website, realtor? i’m ready to invest and have a mentor or two for advice, but like everyone in this industry, i’m desiring an investment with an average R.O.I (meaning, it doesn’t have to be outrageous, as i’m willing to hold and eventually lease option) …something that’s not taking a lot of time to find….i just want to pick and choose.

what are you suggestions???

Good Luck and Best Wishes!

I am about to start the foreclosure process. I know the lenders will send mail, but is there a way to get them to stop calling my home and buisness? I heard that you can send a letter to the lender and they have to quit calling and can only contact you through the mail.

I think you’re mixing up credit laws. Since the lender is still technically a lender, and not collection agent (not yet, anyway), they have every right to send you letters about what you owe. If you want to KEEP your home, you should really try to establish a dialog with them. Many lenders don’t want to have a home that they can’t sell on their books. It costs them a LOT more than it’s going to cost you. They are motivated to figure out a solution…if you let them know.

Have you talked to your lender about a loan modification or loss mitigation arrangement? It wouldn’t hurt at this point to ask them. They don’t want a house collecting dust on their books, either. They might be able to work out an arrangement with you. I would call them and ask. And check out this book:

See im interested in a career in real estate but i dont want to be a realtor for my whole life, i want to be an investor (Flipping houses). But i ve heard that if you have your real estate license you cant own more then one property because its against the law or something like that. So if anyone can shed some light on this matter it would truly apperciated.

Real estate agents help people with buying, selling, or leasing homes, buildings, and land. Residential real estate agents specialize in working with homeowners, while commercial real estate agents deal with office space and buildings.

Real estate agents make sure their clients have all the information they need to set selling prices, make offers, and negotiate a great deal. Real estate agents are paid a commission which is a percentage of the sale price of each transaction, so your earning potential is unlimited.

Real estate agents receive enormous satisfaction from finding the perfect new home for their clients, or helping owners sell a home with little hassle and for a great price. If you love people and are rewarded by helping them, you have discovered a career that will allow you to turn your passion into a real way to make a living.

And of course they can have more than one property at a time!

Hope this help.
